Judith ‘Lucy’ Von drak (Hanson) Lucier

Judith “Judy” Von drak (Hanson) Lucier, 81, of Lady Lake, FL passed away on September 11, 2014 at The Villages Hospital. She was born on December 18, 1932 in Washington, DC to the late Charles Norman Hanson and Mary Isabelle (Grove) Hanson. Judy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a big Redskins fan. She enjoyed making crafts, sewing and golfing. She also loved cooking for her family and friends. She loved chicken. Judy is survived by her loving husband, Philippe (Phil) Henry Lucier; daughters, Deborah (Debbie) Sparshott (the late Steve Sparshott), Jacqueline (Jackie) Williams (Sammy), Barbara (Beetle) Rudd (Monte), Cecilia (Silly) Swift (Ray), Lorraine (Bunny) Lucier, Cynthia (Cindy) Deneault (Mike); 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received for Judy’s Life Celebration on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., with prayers at 5:00 p.m., at Beyers Funeral Home, 134 N. Hwy 27/441, Lady Lake, FL 32159. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at St Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, FL 32159. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m., Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513. Pallbearers will be Sammy Williams, Mike Deneault, Ray Swift and Bill Bower. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to: The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
