Man with 14 stolen Social Security numbers arrested in parking lot of bank in The Villages

Jeremy Mason Little

A man with 14 stolen Social Security numbers was arrested in the parking lot of a bank in The Villages.

Wildwood police responded at 8:58 a.m. Monday to the parking lot of the Wells Fargo bank in Pinellas Plaza where a man had been walking around in the parking lot for about 30 to 40 minutes.

The officer located 30-year-old Jeremy Mason Little of Summerfield who was found to have 14 Social Security numbers in his possession along with a Florida ID card of another person.

While at the Wildwood Police Department, an officer learned from Little’s mother that the Social Security numbers belonged to employees and customers. Little previously was employed at a business run by his mother. She said Little was not supposed to have the Social Security numbers.

He was arrested on fraud charges and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.

In 2015, he had been sentenced to prison time in connection with a burglary in the Village of Pennecamp.
