Norma Joyce Collins

Norma Joyce Collins

Norma Joyce Collins, 81, of Fruitland Park, FL, took her last breath and entered into eternal life with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday May, 31, 2017.

“I want happiness. I do not want tears of sadness. I have been blessed & have lived a good life.” She did not leave behind a large estate, a mansion, triple digit bank account or even a vehicle for that matter. What she did leave however, was much more valuable than any monetary item ever could be. She leaves a legacy of cherished memories from the very beginning to her very last breath. These memories include irreplaceable moments & times through the years with family and friends… and a story book ending to how, “Cancer did NOT beat her.”

She was an amazing, kind and humble mother whose passion was cooking and “feeding others”, a stranger to none. All who met her, fell in love with her beautiful spirit. She leaves behind two daughters, Desiree Michele Collins and Nicole Marie Todd, son-in-law Cori S. Todd, son, Paul Collins; Two grand-daughters, Alexis Marie Todd Humphreys and Cameryn Leigh Todd, a grandson Caleb Douglas Collins, Valley, AL; two, great-grandchildren, Madelyn Rose and Grady Conrad Humphreys; a sister, Sara Steele of Georgia; other loved ones and “adopted children.” She had many!!!

Please join us in remembering her, at a memorial service to be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Heritage Community Church in Fruitland Park. Followed by, “The biggest, best and happiest Celebration of Life ever”, as requested by Norma Joyce herself. The celebration will be held at a separate location from memorial service, so please contact Nicole Todd for more information if planning to attend the celebration, separate from the service.
