A 27-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly left a gash in a man’s forehead during a fight over indebtedness Sunday night.
The man was “bleeding profusely” from his forehead when he flagged down a Marion County sheriff’s deputy on SE 187th Terrace, according to an arrest report. EMS arrived on the scene and advised the man he was going to require eight stitches.
The man told the deputy he had acquired the wound during an argument with Jennifer Michelle Beach over debt owed to a local convenience store. He said she had thrown a wooden tray at him and hit him in the forehead.
When the deputy went to their residence on SE 190th Court, Beach told the deputy the man had injured his head when he head-butted her in the forehead. However, she admitted that when she threw the tray, it might have hit him in the head, according to the report.
She was arrested on a felony charge of domestic battery and booked at the Marion County Jail.
