Fiesta Bowl gearing up for 2018-19 Senior Shootout Championship

Fiesta Bowl in The Villages is preparing to host the 2018-19 Senior Shootout Championship.

The event will take place Saturday, Aug. 17 beginning at 11 a.m. It is open only to those bowlers who:

  • Qualified by winning an event this season;
  • Have participated in at least seven events this season; or
  • Were invited during the non-winners event.

The regular shootout format will be in place and the cost will be $50 per entry with optional brackets, side pots and the “King of the Hill” pot. Those who qualified were notified via e-mail, but those with questions concerning entries can call (352) 753-2747.

Stan Sprow, the 2017-18 champion, has been invited to defend his title. And the Fiesta Bowl staff is hoping to see all 64 bowlers who qualified and a large crowd to cheer them on.
