To the Editor:
What in Heaven’s name were the powers-that-be thinking when they decided to separate the haves from the have-nots?
I have a vision straight from Charles Dickens standing in the darkened squares outside of the VIP tents watching the merry makers inside the tents, lights aglow, enjoying their $70 plastic cups of wine as in the background someone throws a switch to illuminate the giant plastic Christmas tree. What then? More? So what’s next?
