Anne Kaufman, 100, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Kaufman. She had lived in The Villages since 2011, moving from West Palm Beach, FL. Most of her life was spent in Marblehead, Massachusetts. She was an ardent bridge player who played every week and competed in tournaments. Anne’s other pursuits included tennis and golf. She even once had a hole-in-one. Anne was an artist painting in all mediums. Her art has been and will continue to be enjoyed by her family. Anne’s recent birthday was a celebration and brought together generations of family in Florida. Her sense of humor, strong will, and generous spirit will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Steven Kaufman(Rita), Edward Kaufman(Rose Marie), Howard Kaufman (Diane); 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Frances Freedman and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Shirat Hayam of the North Shore Cemetery, Temple Israel Section, 476 Lowell St., Peabody, Massachusetts 01960.
