Bertha Mae Toothaker

Bertha Mae Toothaker, age 85, of Tavares, formerly of Fruitland Park, FL, went to be with her Lord , December 22, 2016 in Tavares Hospice House. She was born March 9, 1931 to the late William Jeff and Prentie Pearl Presley Singleton in Del Rio,Texas .However she spent most of her life growing up in in Daytona Beach. Bertha was a bank teller in the Banking Industry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years William David Toothaker. Bertha was a long time member of the First Baptist Church, Leesburg.
She is survived by three sons, William David Toothaker and his wife Lynn, of Grand Island, FL., Richard Wayne Toothaker and his wife Roberta, of Belleview, FL., and Alan Toothaker and his wife Ginger of Meadows of Dan, VA. One Brother, Richard Singleton of Tallahassee, FL., sisters, Betty Day and her husband Carl, Ponce Inlet, Florida and Shirley West of Daytona Beach, FL. Also surviving are the stars of her life, six grandchildren: David III, Deanna, Ashley, Heidi, Adaiah, Keturah, and 24 great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday January 2nd , at the Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services , 914 West Main Street, Leesburg.FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be sent to the First Baptist Church, Leesburg, 220 N. 13th Street, Leesburg, FL. 34748 or the Cornerstone Hospice 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL. 32778
