A 28-year-old Lady Lake man was being held on $5,000 bond after he allegedly put his girlfriend in a headlock during a fight over a phone.

Michael David Norris is facing a charge of domestic violence following his arrest Monday by Lady Lake police.

Norris and his girlfriend of seven years had been walking near Summit Street and Ann Street and pushing a baby stroller when they began to argue, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Norris reportedly snatched a phone from the stroller. When his girlfriend, with whom Norris shares a child, tried to get the phone back, he put her in a headlock, the report indicated.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail.

Norris was arrested last year after he reportedly exposed himself in the parking lot of St. George’s Episcopal Church in The Villages. You can read about that arrest HERE
