Marie L. Mello, age 93, of The Villages, FL, went home to the Lord Saturday, August 8, 2015. Marie moved to The Villages from Miami, FL. She worked for the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, RI from 1968 until her retirement in 1988. Marie loved life in The Villages enjoying dining out and cooking at home. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, FL. Marie is survived by her son, Daniel DeMello and his fiancé, Gail Foster of The Villages and son, Arthur DeMello. She has three sisters: Alice Miniz of Gainesville, FL; Ann LeVasseur of Houston, TX and Terry DeNadal of Pensacola, FL. She has many nieces and nephews, granddaughters and grandson. She was blessed with many friends and family. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 E.
