A Marion County sheriff’s deputy patrol car was damaged while parked at his home in Ocala over the weekend.
The deputy made contact with another MCSO deputy on Monday, advising him that unknown persons had attempted to gain entry into his marked patrol vehicle that was located at his residence, according to an incident report. Upon examination, the deputy observed marks above the front passenger side door and the chrome molding to be pulled away from the door.
Nothing was missing, as the perpetrator was unsuccessful in gaining entry into the vehicle.
