A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning when he lost control of his motorcycle while negotiating a curve in Hillsborough County.
Darren Matthew Drysdale of Tarpon Springs had been traveling at 3:56 a.m. on State Road 618 when he lost control of the motorcycle, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle traveled underneath the guardrail and Drysdale, who had been wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
