Trash along cart paths

To the Editor:

I think it is time to organize cleanup groups to pickup thrash thrown out of golf carts and other vehicles along our car paths and roads. The nature of the residents living in The Villages has changed over the years. Originally, most or all of the buyers purchased property here because they wanted to live this lifestyle, but through attrition and inheritance and hard time many residents are here that do not have the same respect for their community as the original owners. Some I would call trailer trash. They litter our cart paths and roads by throwing their trash out along the paths instead of properly disposing of it.
