A 21-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested Sunday morning after he was caught speeding on County Road 466.
Matthew Laso Dardis had been traveling west on County Road 466 at Morse Boulevard when a Sumter County Sheriff’s Deputy clocked him driving 51 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone, according to the arrest report. His vehicle was pulled over at Tall Trees Lane and CR 466.
When the deputy asked Dardis for his driver’s license, Dardis responded, “I really don’t have a license” and handed the deputy a Florida ID card, the arrest report indicated.
The deputy determined that Dardis’ license had been suspended for failure to pay financial obligation.
He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $500 bond.
