The 66-year-old Villager who was killed Saturday when her golf cart was struck by a Cadillac SUV was a retired school psychologist
Nancy Ann Von Nostitz was at the wheel of an EZ-Go golf cart when it was struck by the SUV whose driver had suffered a medical episode. Von Nostitz’s friend, 68-year-old Marsha K. Eger of Trumansburg, N.Y. who had been riding in the cart with her, suffered critical injuries and also later died of her injuries. You can read more about the accident HERE.
Von Nostitz bought her home in the Lindsey Villas in the Village of Charlotte in 2013.
She immersed herself in The Villages’ lifestyle, playing golf, swimming and experimenting with Zumba and yoga. She took classes at the Lifelong Learning College.
She also tapped her previous experience as a psychologist when she provided supportive services at a local assisted living center, according to her Linked In page.
She retired in 2006 as an administrator at the La Fargeville Central School District in New York.
Von Nostitz was active in Single Golfers of The Villages and the Italian American Club South.
