An Oxford man was arrested on a charge of battery after an altercation with a woman Wednesday morning.
Danny Arnold Dubberly, 53, was arrested at his residence on County Road 227 by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy.
A woman told the deputy that during an argument, Dubberly had grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her to the bed, according to the arrest report.
Dubberly was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where he was being held without bond.
