A Villager’s oft-arrested son landed back behind bars after paying a visit to a Circle K in The Villages from which he has been banned.

Keith Barnum, 39, who lives at 730 Roseapple Ave., went Sunday night to the service station on the Historic Side of The Villages and approached an employee. Barnum was previously arrested at the Circle K when he allegedly groped an employee. He later showed up at the Circle K again on a beer run.

Barnum told a police officer he knew he was banned from the Circle K, but had gone there “to wash my hands,” according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

He was arrested on a charge of trespassing and booked at the Lake County Jail.

The following day in Lake County Court, he entered a plea of no contest to the trespassing charge. He was sentenced to one day in jail and released.
