Alva ‘Van’ Levan Maddox

Alva “Van” Levan Maddox, of The Villages, FL, went to rest with Jesus on August 28, 2017.

Born September 28, 1924, he is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Anne, and adoring family. While his passing is a tremendous loss for his family, Van lived a full and active life.

Services will be held on September 23 at 10 a.m. at New Covenant Methodist Church, 3470 Woodridge Drive, The Villages, FL. A celebration of his life will follow the service at Lake Miona Recreation Center at 1526 Buena Vista Blvd, The Villages, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in Van’s honor at New Covenant Methodist Church, where he was a longtime member.
