Suspicious behavior leads to man’s arrest at Sam’s Club

Joshua King

Suspicious behavior led to a man’s arrest at Sam’s Club in Lady Lake.

Police officers were called to investigate at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday “a suspicious group inside of the store,” according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

Joshua King, 23, of Tampa, was among a group in the parking lot and when King was approached “he immediately became agitated and began swearing,” according to the report. When King was asked to put his hands behind his back, he instead tensed up and tried to pull away from the officer. He also gave the officer a false name.

King was arrested on charges of providing a false name to a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond.
