Dollie Mae Thomas

Dollie Mae Thomas, 92 of Fruitland Park, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2019 at Leesburg Regional Medical Hospital.

Dollie was born on November 3, 1926 in Greenville, Alabama. She was pre-deceased by her husband, James Oliver Thomas, who was the love her life for 57 years. She was a homemaker and volunteered with the American Red Cross for over 40 years. She was a faithful member of Covenant Life Church of Fruitland Park, Florida.

She leaves behind her loving children, Jim (Donna) Thomas, Betty Woods and Fran (Tim) Sullivan, all of Leesburg, Florida, a brother, Jim Harrison of Fruitland Park, FL. She was a wonderful wife, fabulous mother, “Meme” and great-Meme. She had 10 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg on Saturday October 19, 2019 from 10am to 11am, with the service beginning at 11am. A graveside burial service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in loving memory to the following: Covenant Life Church, 706 Urick Street, Fruitland Park, FL 34731 or Good News Church, 400 Executive Blvd., Leesburg, FL 34748.
