Tickets are still available for Monday’s event featuring the author of  “13 Hours in Benghazi.”

Kris “Tanto” Paronto, who fought through the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, is coming to The Villages on Monday night.

He will be speaking and signing copies of his book at Savannah Center.

The event is co-sponsored by The Villages Tea Party and the Sumter County Republican Executive Committee.

A former Army Ranger and Blackwater Security consultant, Paronto was battling enemy forces on the day when four American lives, those of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods, and Glen Doherty, were lost.
