James L. Dyser

James L. Dyser, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 16, 2015 at the age of 78. He was born January 21, 1937 in Queens, NY to the late John Dyser and Calla Dyser. After high school, Jim joined the United States Air Force 1954 and retired SMSGT. at Luke AFB 1974. Following his career in the Air Force, he earned his BA at Belleview University, Nebraska. He then pursued a career as Welfare Director in Omaha. Jim moved to Ft. Huachuca, Arizona and worked for USA Information Systems Command as a Logistics Management Specialist. Jim was an active member American Legion Post 347 where he served as Judge Advocate for many years in the past, he is Member at VFW 8385 and DAV member and Retired Military family group in The Villages.

Jim is survived by his wife Anita Dyser of the Villages, Florida. Jim has three children and one Stepson. Jimmy Dyser of Nebraska, Thomas Dyser and his wife Sandy of Missouri, Joann Dauenhauer and husband Rex of Nebraska and Michael Vernon and wife Rasa (Stepson) of Key West. Jim has five Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Brothers; Bill Dyser of Mesa, Arizona and Stan Dyser of Tempe, Arizona.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours at Beyer’s Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 5 – 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10 a.m. at New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL and an Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In Lieu of Flowers, condolences may be made to Marion County Hospice or New Covenant United Methodist Church.
