Continued saga re: The Villages Regional Hospital

To the Editor:

I apologize to all who followed my advice (plea), written in July, to be “part of the solution-and not part of the problem” by attending the POA meeting to hear two of the  administrators share an update of the The Villages Regional Hospital.
For those of you who don’t know – the guest speakers canceled AGAIN!  Those of us who did try – got soaked to the skin that night.
Frankly, I think these individuals need to resign or be fired. The complaints are legion – but don’t give up on trying to maintain/regain your health.
There are many competent hospitals and staff/administrators in Florida, not far from here. You can always go out of state instead of risking your health/life by continuing to use/support this institution.
I  reluctantly speak from my long advanced educational and practice background and, sadly, from my experiences there as a patient.
