Brenda Sue Burrows

A Lady Lake woman landed behind bars last week after an alleged attack on her long-time husband.

Lady Lake police were called at 9:45 p.m. Thursday to a home on Heather Oaks Circle where 50-year-old Brenda Sue Burrows was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.

Burrows’ husband of 24 years said his wife had been “out of control” and hitting him, according to an arrest report. He had red marks and abrasions on his arms. He told police he was “fearful things might escalate.”
