The extremely popular VHA electronics recycling program has found a new home.
The event is set for Saturday, March 2 and has been moved to The Villages Charter School, according to the event’s founder, VHA Director Matt Friedland.
The event was originally held at Winn-Dixie at Lake Sumter Landing, but the event became so popular it became a traffic problem.
It was later moved to Lake Deaton Plaza.
Moving it to The Villages Charter School is welcome news, Friedland said. The school is not in session on Saturdays and is adept at handling car lines.
More details about hours and what will be accepted will be announced closer to the event.
