Donald Santo Proscia, 78, went to be with the Lord on October 02, 2015. Donald was born on March 18, 1937 in Queens, NY to his parents Dominick and Katherine Proscia. Donald was a proud veteran of The United States Marine Corps and member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was an active member of Grace Tabernacle Church of Wild Wood, FL. Donald’s favorite things to do were boating around Lake County and spending time with his family. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Donald would say that he was a warm and friendly man who was encouraging, always ready with a hug and a kiss and had a contagious smile. Donald is predeceased by his Step Son: Robert Dyruff and Step Daughter: Beth Dyfuff. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years: Victoria Proscia, of Leesburg, FL; Son: Brian Proscia, of Brooksville, FL; Daughters: Donna (Joe) Altieri, of Brooksville, FL, and Gloria (Glen) Beal, of Lisbon Falls, ME; Step Daughters: Julie (Ward) Kelly, of Palm Harbor, FL, Susanne (Bobbie Strickland) Dyruff, of Ocala, FL, and MaryMan (Eric) Vecellio, of Ocala, FL; Seventeen Grandchildren and Fourteen Great-Grandchildren. Donald Santo Proscia was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by many. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2015 at 11:30AM at Grace Tabernacle Church located at: 7279 East CR 468, Wild Wood, FL 34785. After the memorial service the family invites you to stay for lunch, fellowship and to share memories of Donald.
