Marion County Fire Rescue crews responded to multiple vehicle accidents Friday morning on Interstate 75 in Marion County.
Northbound lanes of the interstate were closed down for a short period of time while fire crews extricated the patients from the vehicles.
The first reported accident resulted in two patients being transported as trauma alerts to a local trauma hospital.
The second reported accident resulted in three patients being transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
