Kathy Tuzio, 64, of The Villages, Florida passed away unexpectedly, Monday, June 22, 2015 in Alexandria Virginia. Kathy and Nick had moved to The Villages from Long Island, New York in 2007. She enjoyed the people in The Villages, live music, making new friends, travel, eating out and shopping. She had worked in Long Island in the elementary school system as a secretary working with audiologists for the hearing impaired. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Nick Tuzio; two daughters, Bevin James (Ron), Long Island, NY, Maryellen Khosla (Shaun), Alexandria, Virginia; three grandchildren, Mason, Emily, Drake; mother, Edna Graff, siblings, Jimmy Murphy, California, Mary Ellen Cisar, Connecticut, Peter Murphy, Florida, Patricia Howe, Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 with interment to follow in Florida National Cemetery.
