Kenneth R. Weir

Kenneth R. Weir, 80, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 under the care of Cornerstone Hospice. Mr. Weir was born September 15, 1935 in Madisonville, KY. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran serving 4 tours of duty in Vietnam. After retiring from the Air Force he became a real estate broker eventually retiring in the Orlando area and moving to Wildwood in 1997. Not being able to completely retire, he purchased another real estate agency and sold homes in Continental Country Club for about 10 more years. He was a long time member of First Christian Church in Wildwood and loved to play golf. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Adel and his sister, Martha Weir of Madisonville, KY. A service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held in the First Christian Church in the future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to First Christian Church, 6900 East CR 468, Wildwood, Florida 34785.
