William R. Lacy

William R. Lacy, 75, Wildwood, Florida, passed away on August 26, 2015 at his residence under the loving care of his family. Mr. Lacy was born on April 1, 1940 in Groveland, Florida to his parents Ernest Lacy and Melda (Pointer) Lacy. Mr. Lacy was a former Line Foreman for the City of Leesburg Electric Department with over 39 years of service. He was a lifelong resident of Central Florida and was a Southern Baptist by faith. He enjoyed building cars, working on car engines, going to car shows and also riding and working on motorcycles. He is survived by his loving wife 21 years: Patsy Lacy; seven sons: Stanley Lacy, Billy Hunter, Heath Wilson, Henry Hunter, Chris Wilson, Michael Vines and Carl Vines; four daughters: Cindy Stockhouse, Christy Lacy, Carlee Vines and Angela Fowler; two brothers: C.W. Chastain and Charles Chastain; a sister: Wanda Dickinson; twenty five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leeburg, Florida. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg.
