Precautionary boil order for some homes in Village of Mira Mesa

A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for some homes in the Village of Mira Mesa.

The impacted homes are are at the following addresses 302-318 (Even Addresses), 307-323 (Odd Addresses) Del Mar Drive and 1021 Del Rio Drive.

The boil order is as a result of 8-inch water main break.

Therefore as a precaution, it is advised that all water used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, cooking, and washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.  For all other household uses the water is acceptable.

The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological test shows that the water is safe.

If you have any questions, you may contact the Water Plant Operator at 753-1756 or Utility Customer Service  750-0000, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
