To the Editor:
On behalf of the Amigos Sports Club and the Pelican Social Club we would like to express a sincere thank you for the generous donations and for those who volunteered their time to make Adopt a Family such a huge success. We supplied over $100 worth of gifts and clothing for 154 children from their “wish list.” 62 families were provided with bags of food and a Honey Baked Ham dinner to be picked up for their Holiday meal. Sincere gratitude to all involved including those who are not a part of our clubs and were so very generous. A special thank you to Villages-News.com for reporting our efforts. Happy Holidays!
