Fruitland Park man arrested after allegedly stealing lawn mower from landlord

A 52-year-old Fruitland Park man was arrested on a charge of grand theft after he allegedly stole and pawned a lawn mower owned by his landlord.

The landlord reported to Fruitland Park police that she saw Thomas John Louw removed a mower from her home and load it in his truck. Police later determined that the mower had been pawned.

Louw was arrested on a charge of grand theft and booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond.
