The first of three Christmas tree-lighting ceremonies kicks off Monday evening at Spanish Springs Town Square.
Each of the tree-lighting events includes performances by the Villages Twirlers and Drum Corps as as well as the Villages Cheerleaders.
Singer Bill Thatcher will serve as emcee.
The traditional Candle Distribution takes place just before the actual Tree Lighting Ceremony, which starts at 7 p.m:
• Monday, Nov. 30, 4-9 p.m. at Spanish Springs Town Square. Sensation will perform on the main stage.
• Wednesday, Dec. 2, 4-9 p.m. at Lake Sumter Landing. Kathleen Kane performs on the main stage.
• Friday, Dec. 4, 4-9 p.m. at Paddock Square. Scooter the DJ is on the main stage.
