A 56-year-old Fruitland Park man who has been classified as a habitual traffic offender was arrested Wednesday after he was caught driving a riding lawn mower.
Kenneth Richard Head Jr. was spotted at 4:20 p.m. driving a red riding lawn mower on Paso Ally in Fruitland Park. His driver’s license has been revoked after multiple charges of driving under the influence, refusal to submit to breath tests and failure to meet financial obligations.
He was taken into custody by Fruitland Park Police and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $2,000 bond.
The riding mower had been removed from the scene by Kling Towing.
