A Village of Hemingway couple is offering an invitation to any fellow Villagers who are homesick for snow.
Mike and Melanie Stefan say come on over to 903 Castlehill Drive and play in the snow.
“I have a snowman who blows out what looks like real snow, I think the only one in The Villages” Mike Stefan said.
In reality, it is a soapy mixture, but he swears you cannot tell the difference.
“We had a 70-year-old woman lie down in the snow residue and do a snow angel, she said she has always wanted to do that. Of course, I had to help her up,” he said.
The best time to stop by is between 6:30 and 8 p.m.
In addition to the snow machine, the Stefans have an elaborate display which includes an 8-foot star at the top of the house, Santa in the window waving to the kids, and a pond with an alligator trying to get at a flamingo.
The Stefans are encouraging Villagers to come on by.
