Who is Donald J. Trump?

To the Editor:

Who is Donald J. Trump? He stated during the campaign that he could probably shoot someone on a street in New York City and his base would still support him. He has said many outrageous things in these 15-plus months of his presidency, but the one thing that we all should be concerned about the most is his attacks on the “fake” news media.
I would venture to guess that he has at least three TVs in his bedroom, one each set to FOX, CNN and MSNBC. And perhaps a fourth TV to switch between local channels for CBS, NBC and ABC. He refers to all but FOX as “fake” news, but I would venture to guess that his morning and evening routines consists of trying his best to consume what is being broadcasts on all networks. Yet he calls all but FOX, “fake news.” How about “Fake President”? He lies every day. European leaders probably are concerned as to question anything he might say, related to their own country.
Getting back to the main reason for this letter, President Trump’s recent rally in Michigan left me with much concern. He really laid it on hot and heavy about the “fake news media,” and he had his base stirred up with hatred of the media.
This is really unhealthy. Let us not forget that Communist leaders in the past have controlled their news media to print only what has been directed to print. Look at North Korea. Would President Trump ever state that he approves of their news media? (Talk about fake news . . . ) Would he ever state that North Korea News Media is “fake?” How about that, Mr. President. Do you believe that the North Korea News Media is “fake news”?
