Kudos to The Daily Sun

To the Editor:

The Villages Daily Sun’s censorship of news unfavorable to Trump, the Republicans, the Developer, or The Villages has recently been a major topic on this website.

It appears that the people at The Villages Daily Sun MIGHT have taken note of this criticism. On Friday’s front page, is an article headlined “Trump’s Tweets on Puerto Rico draw bipartisan criticism.”

There is little doubt that, prior to the public criticism of The Daily Sun, such major news of Presidential delusion would not have been published in that newspaper. So kudos to The Daily Sun for its small step toward journalistic integrity.

Now, the acid test will be if The Daily Sun starts to publish news unfavorable to the Developer – like news of the Developer’s bankrolling residential-CDD 6 candidate, Patricia Francis.  Voters only learned of that news thanks to villages-news.com.
