Rose Marie Machowski, age 93, of The Villages, FL died peacefully April 24, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospice.

Born March 20, 1928 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Frank and Elisa Panazza, she grew up and worked in CT.  After graduating from Buckley High School in Hartford, Rose worked for R.M. Grant Co. as a secretary followed by employment for Wiremold Manufacturing.  She loved her jobs almost as much as cooking, sewing, and caring for her home and family.  Rose retired to Florida where she continued to embrace cooking and loved to play Bingo, cards, exercise, and go to tag sales.

Rose is survived by her husband of 72 years, Raymond John Machowski; daughters Donna Cook and husband Francis; Gail Bannock and husband Jerry; and son Raymond Machowski Jr. and Sherry Stevens; her sister-in-laws Jean Reynolds and Phyllis Panazza and special daughter Anne Lemelin.  She loved and cherished her 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews.  Rose was predeceased by her brother, Armand Panazza.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Mariposa Way, The Villages, FL 32162.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Rose will be held Friday April 30th, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Baldwin Brothers Spanish Springs Chapel 1008 Bichara Blvd Lady Lake FL 32159.
