An Oxford woman has arrested in connection with an alleged brawl over medical marijuana.

Megan Nicole Schreiner, 25, had been in an argument Monday night with a man friend who had been allowing her to use his medical marijuana, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. That prompted Schreiner to attempt to snatch a marijuana cigarette from him. She used her left hand to scratch the man’s eye and cheek, the report said.

A deputy found Schreiner at a residence next door. She claimed her man friend had thrown her to the floor during the altercation.

He filled out a waiver of prosecution.

Schreiner was arrested on charge of battery. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $100 bond.
