A former employee of ASG Solutions has been sentenced for repeatedly raiding his former employer’s breakroom vending machine of money.

Christopher Michael Hall, 45, of Fruitland Park was arrested in July by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies after he admitted burglarizing  ASG Solutions in the 2800 block of Killdeer Court in The Villages. During the months of June and July, Hall entered ASG Solutions several times during night time hours while the business was closed. He entered the building by either prying open a door or through an unlocked window. Once inside, he pried open a vending machine in the break room and removed the money. The machine was left inoperable after each instance.

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's health in identifying this individual.
Christopher Hall was captured on video surveillance at ASG Solutions.

He was identified by surveillance footage from the business as a previous employee. During an interview at the Sheriff’s Villages Annex, Hall admitted to committing the burglaries to obtain money to purchase fuel for his vehicle since he was out of work. Hall had worked for ASG until getting fired and figured the vending machine would be an easy way to obtain money.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention on July 17 and remained there until Feb. 17. He appeared in Sumter County Court, was sentenced to time served and released.
