Lady Lake man arrested after alleged altercation with pair of women

A 44-year-old Lady Lake man was jailed on two counts of battery after an alleged altercation with two women Monday night.

Two women were trying to leave a house but were prevented from doing so by Garrett Mann, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

When one of the women attempted to leave, he put his hands behind his back and bumped her with his chest, knocking her to the floor. The second woman tried to separate the pair, and Mann put his hands on her.

He was booked at the Sumter County Jail.
