Man driving on suspended license arrested after illegal U-turn near RaceTrac in Lady Lake

A man driving on a suspended license was arrested after making an illegal U-turn near RaceTrac on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake.

Kevin Craig Douthett, 58, of Leesburg was pulled over Friday by Lady Lake police after making the improper U-turn.

The police officer discovered Douthett’s license had been suspended in 2007. He was convicted of driving on a suspended license in 2013 and again in 2015.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $2,000 bond.
