Two long-time Lady Lake commissioners to serve two more years as no opponents file for seats

Two long-time Lady Lake commissioners will serve two more years, as no opponents filed to challenge them for their seats.

The qualifying period for the November election ended Friday.

Tony Holden, who lives in the Oak Grove Subdivision and represents Ward 2, has already served on the commission for 12 years. In 2016, the Ohio native fended off a challenge from Andrew Lo Faro.

Paul Hannan, who lives on the Historic Side of The Villages, will continue to represent Ward 4. He has served on the commission since 2004.
