Richard Kister

Richard L. Kister passed away in his home on April 23, 2019 in The Villages, FL.

Mr. Kister was born on December 14, 1940 in Ashtabula, OH to George and Gladys Kister. He graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1959. Rich proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 to 1963. He was an air traffic controller and is also retired from the Newark Air Force Base and Boeing. Rich enjoyed his life in The Villages and could often be seen line dancing with friends at the square and golfing.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Jr, of Columbus, OH, Craig (Treyva) Kister of Pataskala, OH; his brothers Ronald (Nancy) Kister of Ashtabula, OH, and Robert (Joanna) Kister of The Villages, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula OH on May 17.
