The Sumter County Commission will hold a special meeting to declare a state of emergency prior to the arrival of a potential hurricane.
Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26 at The Villages Sumter County Service Center at 7375 Powell Road, Room 102.
The sole purpose of the meeting is to declare a state of emergency.
