A 47-year-old Lady Lake man was jailed after he told police that armed men had broken into his home on Palm Street in Lady Lake.

Alexander Christopher Wilson is facing a charge of filing a false police report.

On Saturday, he allegedly told police that two armed men forced their way into his home and demanded $300. When he said he did not have the money, the men took the keys to his 2014 Nissan Sentra, Wilson reportedly told police.
