Two cases of credit card fraud reported at Del Webb Spruce Creek

Two separate cases of credit card fraud have been reported at Del Webb Spruce Creek.

In the first case, a woman who lives at SE 86th Circle reported that her credit card company called her on March 29 to alert her to possibly fraudulent charges of $1,232.45 that had been made on her CitiBank account. Someone made the charges in eight different transactions between Orlando and Miami, according to a report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

In the second case, a man who lives on SE 93rd Circle reported that he had used his Capitol One credit card to buy gasoline Monday at RaceTrac in Belleview. The next day, someone attempted to make a $1,500 purchase with his credit card at Kohl’s in Jacksonville.
