16-year-old golf cart passenger taken to TVRH after accident

A 16-year-old passenger riding in a golf cart was taken to The Villages Regional Hospital after the golf cart she was riding in at 6:15 p.m. July 24 tipped over at the CVS parking lot at 860 Avenida Central.

Kayla Bosticco was transported by Lake EMS from the scene of the accident.

She was a passenger in a golf cart driven by Julia A. Paladino, also 16, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The golf cart had hit a curb and turned over on its right side, according to the accident report.

The registered owner of the golf cart, Kate Myers of 1129 Del Toro Drive in The Villages, responded to the scene but was unable to start the golf cart. She told police she would make arrangements to have it removed from the scene.
