A 70-year-old Village of Country Club Hills woman reported that her purse was stolen Saturday at Home Depot in Lady Lake.
She arrived at Home Depot between 10 and 10:30 a.m. to set up a special display area between Aisles 2 and 3, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. She placed her purse on the shelf behind her while she was working, but later discovered it was missing.
The Vera Bradley, multi-flowered quilted purse contained the woman’s driver’s license, credit cards, $22 in cash, her keys and three gift cards.
